NALP board of directors take office

Brett Lemcke, vice president of R.M. Landscape, will begin his term as president of NALP May 1.

The National Association of Landscape Professionals’ (NALP) new board of directors’ term began May 1. Brett Lemcke, vice president of R.M. Landscape, serves as president of the board.

“We have a great group of professionals on our new board of directors who have a diverse range of knowledge and experience that will ensure that the association is helping to protect and grow the industry and provide the education that members need,” said Sabeena Hickman, CEO of NALP. “I look forward to a productive and exciting year with this talented board of directors.”

The following board members were sworn in at Leaders Forum in Los Cabos, Mexico, on Feb. 26:

2016-2017 officers

  • President—Brett Lemcke of R.M. Landscape in Hilton, N.Y.;
  • President-elect—John Cundiff of Weed Man-Kansas City in Lees Summit, Mo.;
  • Secretary/treasurer—Jeff Buhler of Massey Services in Orlando, Fla.; and
  • Immediate Past President—Scott Jamieson of Bartlett Tree Experts in Grayslake, Ill.;

2016-2017 directors-at-large

  • Jason Becker of Caterpillar in Cary, N.C.;
  • Mike Bogan of LandCare in Frederick, Md.;
  • Jim Campanella of Lawn Dawg in Nashua, N.H.;
  • Joy Diaz of Land Care in Las Vegas, Nev.;
