The National Association of Landscape Professionals (NALP) and the Harvest Group are launching The People Academy Live, a two-day workshop, in Orlando, Fla., and Dallas this winter.

“We know that finding the right employees—and keeping them—is one of the biggest concerns that landscape and lawn care companies face,” said NALP CEO Sabeena Hickman. “We are committed to helping our members find solutions to the employee challenge.”

The intensive, two-day workshop will walk landscape industry experts through a comprehensive step-by-step system for recruiting and retaining “the right people,” the NALP said. The regional event, designed for company owners, managers and HR professionals, will be led by the industry experts from The Harvest Group.

The People Academy Live is approved for Landscape Industry Certified recertification at 1 CEU per hour of instruction attended.

The Orlando event will be held Jan. 31-Feb. 2, and the Dallas event will be held Feb. 21-23.

Registration includes the two-day event, a recruiting tool kit, course materials and an optional employee handbook consultation.
