NALP names Awards of Excellence winners

The National Association of Landscape Professionals (NALP) held its annual Awards of Excellence ceremony during Landscapes 2016 Oct. 20. NALP’s Awards of Excellence offer national recognition for the best work in commercial and residential landscape design, installation, and maintenance and interior plant work.

This year, the Awards of Excellence honored 131 projects. NALP gave out two Decade Awards, seven Recognition Awards, 60 Merit Awards and 61 Grand Awards.

The panel of judges selected the following three projects from the list of Grand winners for the Judges’ Awards, the program’s highest honor: Bonick Landscaping from Dallas; Dennis’ 7 Dees Landscaping & Garden Centers from Portland, Ore.; and Town and Gardens of Long Island City, N.Y. took the top honors.

Dennis’ 7 Dees Landscaping also received the Audience Choice Award.

“The caliber of the projects in the Awards of Excellence is just incredible,” said NALP President Brett Lemcke. “NALP is honored to showcase and promote such great examples of professionalism and dedication to our craft.”
