NCLC goes virtual
The National Association of Landscape Professionals (NALP) will host a virtual NCLC event on April 7-8 from 1-4 p.m. EST each day.
The National Collegiate Landscape Competition was originally scheduled to take place March 18-21 at Michigan State University, with 850 students from 65 schools expected to attend the competition and career fair.
The COVID-19 pandemic forced the cancellation of the in-person competition.
“While we know this can’t fully replace the experience that a face-to-face NCLC provides, it will offer an opportunity for students and (the) industry to come together for a virtual career fair and educational sessions,” NALP said in a statement.
The virtual event will feature a career fair, workshops and other educational content, and will be free to students and faculty. Access to all content will be on-demand through June 30.
