WOODLAND HILLS, CALIF.—NDS, an industry leader in storm water management, efficient irrigation and flow management solutions, has acquired KBI’s PVC and related plastic product lines including fittings, unions, couplings, swing joints, risers, valves, tools and drains. KBI will continue to manufacture, market, and sell its complete line of KBI plumbing products, including CPVC and metal fittings. The purchase represents an important complement to NDS’s Flo Control brand of flow management products sold widely across the US and internationally.

“This acquisition will give our customers a one-stop source for a complete line of high quality flow management products,” says Mike Gummeson, president and CEO of NDS. “KBI’s impressive lineup of ProGuard and other PVC products are an excellent complement to our industry-leading Flo Control line. We are excited about the opportunities that this acquisition presents to us and to our customers.”

NDS will be consolidating the acquired KBI product lines into the NDS Lindsay, Calif., manufacturing facility, and shipping from all NDS regional warehouses in the near future.

KBI will continue to process, ship and invoice orders for the product lines purchased by NDS for a short transition period. “

We’re jointly working toward having all operations and customer support fully transitioned to NDS’s facility in Lindsay, Calif., by the end March 2013,” says Barry McHone, vice president of operations at NDS.

KBI will continue to manufacture, market, and sell its plumbing and fencing product lines in Valencia, Calif.
