The Ohio Landscape Association has named the winners in its 16th annual Landscape Ohio! awards program.
This year, 40 projects received awards in a total of 16 different categories. The award for Lifetime Dedication and Outstanding Contributions to the Landscape Industry was presented to David Richards, CLT, Horticulture Science teacher at the Auburn Career Center in Concord Township.
The Ohio Landscape Association offers the Landscape Ohio! awards program to increase awareness of quality landscaping and how it improves the environment. This annual competition recognizes and applauds designers, installers and property owners throughout Ohio.
Entries are judged by a panel of judges, based on the quality of design and workmanship, along with creativity and overall appeal. Judges do not know whose projects they are judging. The identity of the landscape company who completed the project and which projects won are not revealed until the winners are announced at the awards ceremony.
