Outdoor Power Equipment Aftermarket Association rebrands

Outdoor Power Equipment Aftermarket Association has rebranded and will now be known as Outdoor Power Parts and Accessories Association.

The Outdoor Power Equipment Aftermarket Association has rebranded as the Outdoor Power Parts and Accessories Association. The name and branding change was announced at the organization’s 35th annual meeting in St. Augustine, Fla.

“It’s time to reshape and refocus our organization to better serve a larger portion of the industry,” said John Joensen, president of the organization and sales manager with Gardner.

For more than 35 years, OPPAA has been a member-driven organization with the goal of facilitating the growth and availability of quality replacement parts and accessories to the outdoor power equipment industry. As the organization was originally founded to support and grow the non-OEM replacement parts business segment – it has since evolved to provide less distinction between OEM and aftermarket suppliers.

The new OPPAA Board of Directors includes:
