Pacific Landscape Management has received the Business of the Year award from the Hillsboro Chamber of Commerce.
The landscape management company is based in Hillsboro, Ore., and services 350 commercial properties in the Portland metro area.
Founded in 2001 with three employees, Pacific Landscape Management now includes to 110 workers and has offices in Hillsboro, Parkrose and Sherwood.
It was named one of the fastest growing private companies by Portland Business Journal six years in a row as well as one of the top five largest landscape contractors in Oregon, according to the company. Pacific Landscape Management was included on Oregon Business Magazine’s list of one of the 100 Best Places to Work and it was one of the top 100 Best Green Companies five years in a row.
“We can’t do good work without good people, and we can’t have good people without doing good work,” said Pacific Landscape Management President and co-founder Bob Grover. “It’s a challenging but fun place to work. We have six employees celebrating their 12-year anniversary and almost half of the employees have worked here five-plus years.”
Company employees are offered in-house training, outside education, and various industry certifications. They also attend an annual meeting where feedback is provided on how to be a better service provider and employer.
