PANTS expects attendee bump

Penn Atlantic Nursery Trade Show (PANTS) expects a 30 percent increase in attendance over last year when it opens July 31 – Aug. 1 at its new Philadelphia venue.

“We’re confident that this will be a watershed year for PANTS,” says Kevin McLaughlin, a partner with MAC Events, which produces the trade show. “We set out to put the some sizzle back in the show, and the big increase we’ve seen in advance registrations confirms that we’re on the right path. PANTS13 will be a new model for industry shows across the country – closely focused on offering opportunities and ideas that spell success for every facet of the business.”

Part show, part conference, the two-day event at the Pennsylvania Convention Center is expected to attract more than 2,000 attendees to explore the latest from 285 green trades businesses occupying 400 booths on the convention floor.
