Caretaker Landscape & Tree Management hired Kent Miller as its next president. Miller is a former executive with the The Groundskeeper, based in Tucson. With a new market in Colorado, Caretaker “sees incredible value in Kent’s past experience.”

Ariens Co. made three personnel changes for the Ariens and Gravely brands. Joe Horn, vp of global sales, will shift his primary focus to global sales, spending more time with sales staff, distributors and dealers in international markets. He also will add two new sales positions internationally, according to the company. Ron Marcellus will become director of North American sales, reporting to Horn. He will be responsible for sales growth in the dealer and national retailer channels. Marcellus has held various sales management positions with Ariens Co. for the past 18 years. Joe Pope has been named director of dealer development. In this new position, Pope will develop and implement strategic sales and training programs within the dealer channel and work with dealers to improve brand awareness. He has been with Ariens for 14 years.

Ruppert Landscape hired Amanda Timmins, Logan Minor, Nick Mursin and Camily Bishop at the company’s headquarters in Laytonsville, Md. Timmins, who holds an associate’s degree from Montgomery College, has been hired as payroll specialist. She has more than five years of industry experience, working as branch administrator, fleet specialist and telecommunications specialist with a different organization. Minor has been hired as junior developer with the IT staff. Minor graduated from Towson University in June with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. Mursin has been hired as staff accountant. He graduated from Marymount University in 1993 with a master’s of business administration degree in accounting and finance. Bishop, who graduated from Towson University in 2013 with a bachelor’s in communications, has been hired as communications coordinator.
