HERNDON, VA.—The Professional Landcare Network is recognizing the recipients of its 43rd annual 2012 Environmental Improvement Awards (EIA). PLANET’s EIA program reflects the association’s commitment to supporting members in the creation and preservation of great landscapes. The program recognizes interiorscape, landscape, and lawn care professionals who design and create superior projects.
“The award-winning work represents the best in residential and commercial landscape design and execution,” says Awards Subcommittee Chair Will Spiegelberg, Landscape Industry Certified Manager.
This year, 123 entries were recognized with an award: 41 Grand, 53 Merit, and 29 Recognition awards (formerly known as the Distinction award). The recipients will be recognized during a multimedia show of all of the winning projects during the PLANET Green Industry Conference Awards Reception and Presentation, Oct. 26, 2012.
Four (of the 123) winning entries will receive the additional distinction of winning the coveted Judges Award, which will be announced live at the awards reception at GIC along with the “Audience Choice” award winner who will be chosen based on input from the audience.
