The Professional Landcare Network (PLANET) is celebrating the 25th anniversary of its Green Industry Conference (GIC) with a sweepstakes for a chance to win a 1978 Corvette. GIC is held in conjunction with GIE+EXPO and Hardscape North America in Louisville, Ky., Oct. 22–24.
The GIC 25th Anniversary Corvette Sweepstakes is part of the larger silver anniversary celebration of GIC. To participate in the sweepstakes, contestants must correctly answer 25 trivia questions to have their name entered into a drawing. Contestants also must be present for the drawing at PLANET’s 1980s-themed closing party and specialty group receptions Oct. 24 from 6 p.m.–7:30 p.m., at the Louisville Marriott Downtown. The sweepstakes supporting sponsors include Bayer, Corona Tools and Syngenta.
In addition to the celebration, conference attendees may engage in educational opportunities, including nearly 50 classes and learning sessions, with new tracks for collaborative learning and office administration education. In addition, the Learning Lounge, which debuted during last year’s GIC, returns with short power talks on variety of business-related topics and a genius bar where industry experts will be waiting to answer business questions.
GIC sessions are approved for PLANET Landscape Industry Certified recertification at 1 CEU per hour of instruction attended and landscape architecture continuing education system at one CES per hour.
