Preservation Tree Services, a tree care company in Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas, acquired Greenleaf Professional Tree Services (GPTS), a Fort Worth-based tree care company.

Certified arborists Billy Cook, a GPTS founder, and Bob Shea will make the transition from GPTS to Preservation’s Fort Worth office. Getth Nelson, certified arborist from Preservation, will also join the Fort Worth office.

Preservation Tree Services, which opened in 1995, is in the process of expanding facilities and operations in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, and this acquisition follows that plan, the company said.
