Project EverGreen hired a new development director, Judith Matsko.

The hiring of Matsko comes on the heels of Project EverGreen’s recently adopted strategic development plan. She will be in charge of corporate donations, grant writing and launching a consumer membership drive.

“We are very lucky to have Judy’s 20 years of successful nonprofit experience,” said Cindy Code, Project EverGreen executive director. “She has raised significant funds for prominent nonprofits and Project EverGreen will benefit from her years of fundraising experience.”

Matsko joins Project Evergreen after spending years working for a number of nonprofit organizations such as the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, the American Heart Association and the Children’s Hunger Alliance. She also spent 35 years teaching and coaching in the Strongsville, Ohio school system.

Her other nonprofit board experience includes the Association of Junior Leagues International, the Junior League of Cleveland, University Hospitals Seidman Cancer Center and Cornerstone of Hope, to name a few.
