Rentokil acquires Florida lawn care company on LM150 list
Rentokil Steritech, a pest control company based in Reading, Pa., acquired the assets of Heron Home & Outdoor in Apopka, Fla. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Heron is No. 116 on the LM150 list of top revenue-generating firms with $14,347,321 in 2015 revenue.

All existing employees will stay on through the transition, according to Rentokil. Heron has eight offices and a team of more than 200 employees, including 90 pest and lawn technicians, throughout the Orlando-metro area. The company offers residential pest control, including termite, mosquito, bed bug and wildlife control services.

Rentokil Steritech is part of Rentokil North America, which also owns regional pest control brands Western Exterminator, Presto-X Pest Control and Ehrlich Pest Control.
