Ruppert Landscape, located in Laytonsville, Md., acquired select assets from Craven Creek Landscape Associates, a provider of commercial grounds management services in Raleigh, N.C.

While terms weren’t disclosed, the transaction includes the purchase of select commercial landscape management contracts, trucks, equipment and the hiring of several employees. The commercial clients are primarily based in Wake, Durham and Nash Counties.

“Craven Creek has built a reputation as a service oriented company with customers who have been with them for many years,” said Fred Key, vice president of Ruppert. “Their current book of business meshes well with the areas in which we have chosen to focus and their customers included many that are in close proximity to our new permanent location in Garner, N.C.”

Craven Creek has been doing business in the Raleigh metropolitan area for more than 18 years. Ruppert has served customers from its branches in Charlotte, N.C., and Raleigh since 2009 and employs more than 100 people at those two locations. It reported an annual revenue of $72,549,000, according to the 2013 LM150 rankings.
