Ruppert Landscape, based in Laytonsville, Md., promoted Matthew Davidson to branch manager of its Forestville, Md., location.

Davidson, who has been with the company for three years, brings with him more than 20 years of industry experience, including positions as an area manager and branch manager. He also spent eight years in the National Guard and was two year’s active duty in the US Air Force.

Additionally, Davidson received a Branch Impact Award in 2012 for the role he played in the company’s safety program and for his contributions in the areas of innovation as it relates to new service lines and energy efficient equipment use.

“Matt has a passion for winning and developing a successful team,” said Doug Halsey, vice president and regional manager. “He holds himself and others around him to the highest of standards, which will continue to challenge this already successful Forestville team.  He’s proven that he has what it takes to manage all aspects of a branch and we are looking forward to his future contributions.”
