SnowEx’s released the RDV V-plow, which includes many of the features found on heavy-duty plows, but it’s specifically designed for half-ton trucks.

Constructed of high-strength, low-alloy steel, the RDV V-plow is strong and light and configures to varying vehicle heights for optimum performance on popular truck models, including GMC Sierra 1500, Chevrolet Silverado 1500, Ford F-150, RAM 1500 and Toyota Tundra.

Available with either powder-coated or stainless steel blades, the RDV V-plow is 7-foot, 6-inches wide as a straight blade or 6-foot, 9-inches wide in V mode. Double-acting angle cylinders allow the operator to adjust the wings independently or to lock them together for efficient straight-blade operation and clean back-dragging. Trip edges are included to protect the equipment and operators if an unseen obstacle is struck.

The Automatixx power-assisted attachment system offers quick and easy plow hookup. The system includes self-aligning, removable receiver brackets that provide additional ground clearance when setting up. Automatixx allows the plow to be connected from one side of the truck.

Also available are LED or dual halogen Storm Seeker headlamps. The LED headlamps feature EdgeView technology, providing a full 180 degrees of light from plow edge to plow edge and producing high light output. The dual halogen headlamp option also offers improved brightness and reach with high low- and high-beam performance.

Other standard features include a direct lift system to provide a full range of motion for stacking and transport. The RDV V-plow is 27 inches high in the center and 33 inches high at the outer edge.

Accessories include a 10-inch rubber deflector, shoe assembly kit, AR400 steel curb guard kit, a cast-iron curb guard kit, a ½-inch steel cutting edge, a 1-inch poly cutting edge, a blade stop kit, a back-drag edge and the Scrape Maxx down-force kit. The RDV V-plow blades are prepunched for the simplified installation of many accessories.
