SnowEx rolled out a liquid solutions initiative: SnowEx Liquid Solutions. The program is designed to help customers implement liquid pre-wetting, anti-icing and deicing strategies through a series of equipment, materials and training educational materials.
“With the high volatility in salt supply and prices, liquids have become a critical tool in the snow and ice management toolbox,” said Barry Truan, VP of marketing for SnowEx. “Even though liquids are a proven way to help municipalities, contractors and facility maintenance professionals increase efficiency, many of them aren’t sure how to get started. SnowEx Liquid Solutions aims to be a ‘one-stop shop,’ empowering them with the specialized products, knowledge and confidence needed to succeed.”
In terms of equipment, SnowEx expanded its existing equipment line of pre-wet systems, vehicle-mounted sprayers and walk-behind units, to include a line of purpose-built brine application and handling equipment.
Through its materials program, SnowEx offers resources to help customers evaluate options and select materials that will optimize equipment performance and help achieve level of service goals most efficiently.
With training, SnowEx partnered with industry authorities to offer how-to guides, application videos, specialized training events and more to educate customers about liquid strategies.
