Spring-Green debuts mobile app for franchisees


Spring-Green Lawn Care introduced a mobile application designed for its franchise owners and managers nationwide.

Tools within the app include Measure It, a Google Map interface allowing users to plot different points of a customer’s lawn for accurate estimates; property evaluations; customer information, including photos of customers’ lawns and landscapes, irrigation system inspections and evaluations; and new customer expectations surveys.

A recent update also allows users to take advantage of satellite navigational mechanisms, giving users the ability to map their route to customer locations.

“The Spring-Green app is just another example of how Spring-Green continually reinvests and refines the marketing and technology offerings franchise owners take advantage of each and every day,” President James Young said.

The tablet and the technology also allows Spring-Green service providers to take pictures while in the field, which can be uploaded on the web pages to provide a better explanation. Communications are sent to customers by email immediately, while the service provider is still on the property.

“Spring-Green’s custom app allows our managers and franchise owners to provide an even more outstanding and impressive way to exceed customer expectations,” CEO Ted Hofer said. “By using the app to conduct immediate, on-site evaluations, we are able to more quickly identify customer needs and get a leg up on other lawn care service providers.”
