Stihl rolled out a marketing initiative, tagged “Real People, Stihl People,” which urges satisfied customers to give and share testimonials on Stihl products online or via social media using the hashtag #RealSTIHL.
“We’ve been receiving unsolicited testimonials from our users for some time, and we’ve had such great stories,” said Jackson D’Armond, marketing communications manager. “We thought this would be a good time to tell them.”
The initiative is the company’s single largest integrated marketing campaign, according to MediaPost.
