Toro discount program salutes American heroes

The Toro Co. rolled out a new equipment discount program to recognize those who serve in the United States military and their communities across the country. Under the American Hero Program current or former members of the military as well as current or former firefighters and police officers are eligible for an 18 percent discount on the manufacturer suggested retail price of Toro landscape contractor equipment.

“There are a number of people who have served or are serving in the military or in their local communities as firefighters and police officers that use our equipment professionally or at their own homes,” said Chris Hannan, marketing manager for Toro. “We wanted to develop a discount program to support these heroes.”

Military members, firefighters and police officers can take advantage of the American Hero Program by providing proper identification to any participating Toro dealer.

Discounts are applicable for the following products:

• Z Master zero-turn mowers
• GrandStand mowers;
• mid-size walk-behind mowers;
• heavy-duty 21″ walk-behind mowers;
• 30″ TurfMaster walk-behind mowers; and
• select attachments.
