Turfgrass Producers International (TPI) awarded $5,500 in scholarships to three students through the Dr. Henry W. Indyk Scholarship Program administered by The Lawn Institute (TLI).

Recipients included Cody Anderson of Othello, Wash., who will attend Purdue University to major in agribusiness and minor in farm management; Molly Maroney of Telephone, Texas, who will attend Texas A&M University where she will major in agriculture/agribusiness and minor in public relations; and Taylor Thompson of LaPorte, Ind., who has been accepted at Purdue where she plans to pursue a degree in education.

The Dr. Henry W. Indyk Scholarship was established to honor a founding father of TPI. Since its inception in 2006, TPI has awarded nearly 20 scholarships to assist TPI families and/or employee family members to pay for higher education.

Scholarship applicants can major in any given field but must plan on attending or be attending an accredited educational facility as a full-time student.
