Alex Catchings and Corey Brinkman, co-founders of Toledo, OH-based AltFuel LLC, showcased their innovative propane conversion kits at the landscape industry's GIE+EXPO in late October in Louisville, KY.
The co-founders discussed how easy and cost efficient it is to convert mowers and leaf blowers to propane power and the myriad environmental benefits that stem from such upgrades. Conversion to propane power reduces fuel costs and extends the life of most small engines three to five years. In addition, with AltFuel there are fewer spark plug and oil changes, and less noise, odor and air pollution.
