AlignOps FleetWatcher upgraded their onboard camera system with an all-in-one overview dashboard that provides an “at-a-glance” snapshot of driver activity and behavior.

Having a record of what happens strengthens the overall safety program, eliminating gaps and enhancing safety reviews and audits. Consolidating video data into a single, intuitive dashboard provides clear safety insights and job-site efficiency.

This new functionality consolidates live trips, active cameras, daily event counts and 30-day incidents into a single view, with one-click navigation to events, trips, live feeds, footage, camera status and settings, allowing a deeper dive into specific events. Cameras and driver safety modules now work together, as flagged camera events feed directly into the driver safety leaderboard, so footage and event data show up right where managers are already coaching rather than residing in a separate tool.

Optional AI-powered insights alert when drivers aren’t wearing seatbelts, are driving distracted or show signs of fatigue, allowing risks to be caught before they become incidents. Customizable event security thresholds and access controls allow FleetWatcher camera systems to be tailored and deployed to each company’s situation, for authorized, relevant oversight. These upgrades provide visibility, create a record for disputes, audits and insurance claims, and give managers a way to coach and correct driver behavior — making FleetWatcher cameras a fit for fleets of all types and sizes.

In the event of a driving incident, video footage provides a definitive visual record of what occurred and who is responsible. This objective evidence eliminates finger-pointing, unclear liability and prolonged disputes, allowing insurers and legal teams to resolve costly claims quickly.

Insight into risky driver habits allows users to coach drivers before near misses become accidents. The new all-in-one dashboard simplifies driver and event tracking. Users can easily monitor seven-day event counts and top event types to spot trends and target coaching more effectively.

The industrial grade, dual-facing cameras are built on proven MiTAC commercial hardware, which is trusted worldwide. Cameras are tough enough to withstand the harshest conditions and feature internal or external power options. Dual-SIM LTE and backup power ensure that there is no lost footage, providing a simple, dependable insurance safeguard. FleetWatcher cameras can be self-installed in just 30 minutes with adhesive mounts and plug-and-play connectors. They include automatic firmware updates, so they are always optimized. All footage is encrypted, customer-owned and protected from third-party access. With local storage and cloud backup the pre/post-event recording is always available.
