Forbes names Weed Man a ‘best franchise to buy’

Weed-Man---LogoWeed Man, a lawn care franchise organization with locations in Canada, the U.S. and the U.K., was named to the Forbes list of The Best Franchises to Buy.

“We are honored to be recognized by Forbes as an outstanding franchise opportunity,” said Jennifer Lemcke, COO of Turf Holdings and Weed Man USA. “Our franchisees are growing at a phenomenal rate, and prospective franchisees feel confident about investing in a brand that has such an impressive track record of success.”

The Forbes list names 30 brands to its “best” list, splitting them into three categories based on the initial investment required: less than $150,000; $150,000-$500,000; and more than $500,000.

Weed Man is ranked No. 10 in the in the less than $150,000 category. It’s the only lawn care company on the list.

“We’re so excited to see what’s next for Weed Man,” Lemcke said. “We’ve seen double-digit growth year after year and it shows no signs of slowing down,” said Lemcke. “Our franchisees are really knocking it out of the park, which is garnering a lot of interest across the United States.”

Weed Man, which originated in Canada, entered the U.S. market in 1996 through a licensing agreement with Turf Holdings and began awarding franchises in 2000. Weed Man supports franchisees in more than 440 territories throughout the U.S.
