FALLS CHURCH, VA.—The Irrigation Association (IA) continues its partnership with the International Professional Pond Companies Association (IPPCA), as well as a new agreement with the American Rainwater Catchment Systems Association (ARCSA), for the 2013 Irrigation Show and Education Conference in Austin, Texas, Nov. 4-8. These organizations will complement IA’s traditional Irrigation Show offerings with their co-located education events and exhibits.

“The Irrigation Association is eager to again partner with IPPCA and also welcome ARCSA to the Irrigation Show. We’ll be able to connect with these related associations and the professionals they serve, as well as bring even more educational opportunities to Irrigation Show attendees,” says IA Executive Director Deborah Hamlin. “It’s a great match for all involved.”

This is the third consecutive Irrigation Show partnership for IPPCA and first for ARCSA. The 2012 Irrigation Show featured IPPCA INFO TANZA pond and waterscape seminars in two simultaneous tracks, taught by some of the pond industry’s leading authorities. These were held in conjunction with IA education classes and irrigation seminars.

“The IPPCA is pleased to partner with the IA for the third year in a row,” says IPPCA Executive Director Dave Jones.  “With two successful partnered shows as a foundation, we feel the third year will be bigger and better than ever in Austin.”

ARCSA expressed similar excitement with the agreement, and the potential to cross-educate and expand its influence into other water fields. “The standard way of using water is changing,” says ARCSA Executive Director Heather Kinkade. “Using rainwater for those typical water needs is gaining in popularity and we want to make sure rainwater is used in the most efficient and safe manner possible. One way to do that is to team up with IA for this year’s conference.”
