OKEANA, OHIO—Mean Green Mowers was selected as a technology demonstrator for the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District’s Cordless Zero Emission Commercial Lawn & Garden Equipment Demonstration Program (Project #C-20354). Mean Green Products LLC is sending a shipment of Mean Green Mowers, both Zero Turn and Walk Behind models, from Ohio to California.

In the past, the San Joaquin Air District has had programs to replace residential gas mowers with electric push mowers, but this is the first program intended for replacement of commercial-grade gas mowers with cordless, commercial, electric mowers.
