Neave Pools employees earn certification

Scott Neave and Kris Schmitt, pool design, building and maintenance professionals who work for Neave Pools, have passed the Certified Building Professional exam administered through the Association of Pool and Spa Professionals (APSP), an organization dedicated to serving industry professionals and promoting the enjoyment and safety of pools, spas and hot tubs to consumers.

“Pools and hot tubs are a huge investment for homeowners to make in their landscapes,” said the Neave Group Outdoor Solutions President Scott Neave. “Certifications like this offer our clients significant peace of mind that they’ve made the best possible decision in choosing Neave Pools to do the job, and that’s important to us.”

Certified professionals “adhere to strict ethical standards and commit to the highest standards of service, performance, and ethical conduct,” according to the APSP website. In addition to taking a course culminating in a four-hour closed-book exam, they must have at least 5 years’ industry experience and pursue at least 40 hours’ continuing education credits before taking their test.
