Stihl introduced new battery-powered trimmer options for landscape professionals, the FSA 200 and FSA 200 R. Available with either a loop handle (FSA 200 R) or bike handle (FSA 200), the trimmers offer 60 percent more power than the FSA 135 and FSA 135 R, according to the company.
With power comparable to the gas-powered Stihl FS 131, these trimmers are built for trimming, cutting and weed clearing. Professionals will find a newly designed, high-torque gearbox for use with more than ten different cutting attachments and an increased 18-inch cutting width. The variable speed trigger allows the user to adjust speeds. The bike handle version, the FSA 200, is also equipped with an anti-vibration system.
