The National Association of Landscape Professionals (NALP) held its National Day of Service on April 22, Earth Day. A total of 60 volunteer landscape projects were completed throughout the country.

According to NALP, over the last seven years the event has been held, over 1,000 projects have been completed at an estimated value of $4 million.

“Our members are truly amazing,” said NALP CEO Sabeena Hickman. “They are really the unsung heroes in their communities and these projects are usually just part of the pro-bono work that they do over the course of the year in their hometowns. It is important to shed light on their professionalism and commitment.”
