Bobcat introduces E20 compact excavator

The Bobcat Co.’s rolled out its Zero Tail Swing E20 compact excavator.

Featuring an automatic slew brake, the machine replaces the company’s 324 excavator model.

Delivering 13.9 hp, the E20 is available in auto-shift drive and a fingertip auxiliary boom swing control and also features a retractablerubber track undercarriage, increased uptime protection and attachment readiness.

According to the company, the Tier 4 excavator reaches a maximum of 14 ft., has a dig depth of 8 ft. 6 in. and has a dump height of 8 ft. 8 in.

The E20 comes with a variety of attachments, including three trenching buckets, a grading bucket, a clamp, a hydraulic breaker and an auger.

In addition, the excavator has a blade extension mounting system, which is held in place by pins that can be removed to extend or retract the dozer blade. Moreover, the machine’s slew brake, a new feature for this model, provides the operator with more options when positioning the trailer.
