As part of a strategy to expand its equipment division, Central Turf & Irrigation Supply established a distribution partnership with PermaGreen.

The partnership allows Central Turf & Irrigation Supply to sell, lease and service any version of Triumph sprayer spreaders from its 38 stores in the U.S. and Canada, as well as sell the parts.

“This year we set out to become a bigger and better supplier of equipment to lawn care professionals, and this partnership put the icing on the cake” said Bernardo Luciano, president of Central Turf & Irrigation Supply.

Central Turf & Irrigation Supply, formerly named Central Irrigation Supply, was built on its lawn care and irrigation divisions. Adding equipment to its business model brought in more revenue, and helped to set the company apart from competing irrigation distributors, said Anthony Luciano, vice president of sales. Since starting the division in 2005, Central Turf & Irrigation Supply added Tanaka equipment by Hitachi Power Tools, Dingo compact utility loaders by The Toro Co. and Ariens Co. products, to name a few.
