CHARLOTTE, NC — Ecoscape Solutions Group, Inc., based here, increased its South Carolina presence with new offices in both Columbia and Charleston. Chris Hamil will manage the Charleston market, and Jed Warner the Columbia market, the company announced in a release.

“Even with the recent downturn in the economy, our plan has not changed. We will continue to look for opportunities for growth”, says Tony Pope, CEO. “This is the reason we have opened offices in Columbia and Charleston, SC this year. Opening in these markets will only strengthen our position for future growth as the economy begins to improve.”

EcoScape Solutions Group is the 15th largest landscaping management company in the Southeast and has consistently been ranked in the top 50 in the United States in past years.

In separate news, Jason Farland, vp of operations, has relocated to the company’s Raleigh, NC, office, and is confident of leading the team there to double digit growth in 2010. “I am really excited about going to such a healthy and diversified market and truly see this move as a real growth opportunity for myself, as well as the company”, says Farland.

Audubon designation

Ecoscape recently partnered with Crescent Resources and Crosland Contracting to complete the Circle at Concord Mills project, Concord, NC. It is the first multifamily community in the United States to be certified by Audubon International as an Audubon Signature Sanctuary. The company is proud to have been a part of creating this smoke-free, eco-sensitive community. Audubon International is a not-for-profit organization that works to educate people and communities to protect the wildlife, land, water and other natural resources that surround them.

In existence since 1994, Countryside Landscaping merged with Greenlawn Landscape and Irrigation in 2005 to form Ecoscape Solutions Group, which offers landscape design and install, irrigation, lighting, maintenance, hardscapes and grading for both commercial and residential customers.

Ecoscape, headquartered in Charlotte, NC, has offices in Raleigh, Atlanta and three in South Carolina, Fort Mill, Columbia and Charleston.
