Ewing Irrigation & Landscape Supply opened its first Ewing Hardscape Supply locations in Arizona and Colorado.

This new sector offers contractors greater access to bulk material, including decorative rock, boulders and riprap, flagstone, river rock, sand, topsoil, soil mixes and mulch, as well as pavers, travertine, wall blocks, building material, lighting, grills and fire pits, artificial grass, tools and accessories.

“Our new Ewing Hardscape Supply locations showcase the strength of Ewing as a green industry leader,” said Douglas W. York, Ewing’s president and CEO. “This dedicated hardscape division was a natural next step for us. It’s diversified our business portfolio, allowing us to expand vertically and engage with a new customer segment.”

Ewing Hardscape Supply will also provide in-store shopping, same or next-day delivery and well-stocked inventory, said the company. Contractor customers can also order Ewing Hardscape Supply products from Ewing Irrigation locations.

Currently, there are four Ewing Hardscape Supply locations:

  • Phoenix, Ariz.;
  • Brighton, Colo.;
  • Littleton, Colo.; and
  • Elizabeth, Colo.

Ewing Hardscape Supply General Manager Dave Sawyers will lead the Arizona and Colorado locations. Sawyers has more than 30 years of experience in the hardscape and landscape industry. He’s managed hardscape supply locations and quarries at his previous position as vice president and general manager of Pioneer Landscaping Materials.

Prior to working at Pioneer, Sawyers was a general contractor in Colorado Springs, Colo. He became a hardscape consultant for Ewing in 2017.

Regional Managers Matt Hulsey and Troy McDaniel will oversee local operations for the Ewing Hardscape Supply stores in Colorado and Arizona, respectively. Both have spent more than 15 years of experience servicing the retail and commercial hardscape industry at Pioneer Landscaping Materials.
