Jeffrey Scott is holding The Design Build Contest for emerging landscape business owners.

“We love this industry; it has been good to us and we want give back,” said Jeffrey Scott, founder of The Design Build Growth Summit. “If we can share the tools and a vision of professionalism with the next generation, then we have a chance to improve everyone’s prospects.”

If you are an emerging landscape design-build entrepreneur, you are eligible for a chance to win free admission to Scott’s Design Build Growth Summit, which is being held in Columbus, Ohio, Aug. 27-28. The contest ends on July 31.

To enter, your company must be fewer than 10 years old and have a revenue under $500,000. Design build must make up at least 25 percent of your company’s work and your company must have a functional website. The winner of the contest wins a ticket to the event which includes breakfast, lunch and an evening reception, plus one and a half days of education and a facility tour at Hidden Creek Landscaping.

At the event, attendees will learn how to:

  • Scale their businesses faster, with a higher profit and better time management and efficiency;
  • Differentiate themselves from competition by turning the selling process on its head;
  • Increase their production “throughput” in order to achieve a more profitable bottom line;
  • Achieve 20 percent net profit, and what you need to change to hit this benchmark; and
  • Learn best practices from the best and get inspired to become the best.

The top three runners up from the contest will win a copy of Scott’s book, “Become a Destination Company.”

To enter The Design Build Contest, complete the entry form.
