Lotus Gardenscapes gives back to COVID-19 relief efforts

April 1, 2020 -  By

Due to COVID-19, the state of Michigan has banned the majority of businesses from operations, including lawn care, tree care and landscaping companies. Lotus Gardenscapes in Dexter, Mich., found a way to help its customers get the help they need while benefiting the community.

Lotus Gardenscapes quickly responded by revamping its website to include a Virtual Landscaping Consultation. After filling in a form, sending pictures and paying an $85 consultation fee, a homeowner is scheduled for a video conference with an expert in the area they need help with. Advice can range from landscape design, hardscapes, plant selection, drainage, tree care and more.

And, 25 percent of the consultation fee goes directly to local COVID-19 relief efforts.

In addition, Lotus Gardenscapes is offering two services that customers can pay for online. To help families be more self-sufficient during the crisis, Lotus offers raised garden bed installations where clients can plant herbs and veggies to help them avoid the stores. Clients can purchase a garden maintenance visit for just $385, and it will be scheduled as soon as the shutdown has commenced.
