McKay Landscape Lighting is opening its doors to a new winter conference for lighting and landscape professionals. Hosted by Jerry McKay, founder and president of McKay Landscape Lighting, the Lighting Summit is slated to be held Jan. 22 and 23 in Omaha, Neb.

The conference will include the following topics and activities:

• Overview and History of McKay Landscape Lighting
• Design… Where it all Begins
• Installation Techniques and Fixture Selection
• Building a Service Department
• Tour of McKay Facilities
• Drive-by Tour of McKay Installs
• Guest Speaker Chris Heiler on Search Engine Optimization
• Marketing the McKay Way
• Goal Setting

Instead of focusing on design and products, the Lighting Summit aims to translate the use of those into growing a successful and profitable business, as based on McKay Landscape Lighting experience. It seeks to offer learning opportunities through networking with other landscape lighting professionals as well.

The conference registration fee is priced at $1,599 until Dec. 1. Thereafter it will rise to $2,000.
