Morbark added the 12-in. Beever M12RX Brush Chipper to its product line. According to the company, the M12RX is suited for utility line clearing, residential tree services, rental yards and municipalities.

The M12RX has a 60-in. x 31-in. chute opening and 15-in. x 12-in. throat opening with an 18-in. diameter single feed wheel. The chipper’s straight flow-through infeed design easily climbs over materials, reducing dragging and increasing efficiency, reports Morbark.

The new chipper features a reversing auto-feed system; a dual-sided, chambered air impeller system; and a TorqMax compression system with spring-assisted down pressure. It comes equipped with engine options that serve the customers’ regulations standards— the first units will come equipped with 89 hp gasoline GM engines, and later units will come equipped with Tier 4 Final engines, says Morbark.

In addition, the M12RX can be equipped with the company’s ChipSafe Operator Safety Shield for enhanced safety.
