The Grounds Guys listed as a top 10 franchise for vets

Thirty-eight franchises made this year’s list, topped by CruiseOne. Military Times vetted franchises with a nearly 110-question analysis regarding their financial incentives, brand performance and policies that cater to veterans and reservists.

Among other efforts, The Grounds Guys’ dedication to veterans is grounded in its Veterans Transition Franchise Initiative (VetFran Program), established by Don Dwyer Sr., founder of The Dwyer Group, soon after the Gulf War ended in 1991.The Vet Fran program is a voluntary effort of International Franchise Association member companies to encourage franchise ownership by offering business franchise opportunities and financial incentives to honorably discharged veterans.
