Arborjet’s NutriRoot earns USDA certification

|

Arborjet earned the USDA Certified Biobased Product Label for its NutriRoot 2-2-3 Liquid Soil Applied Fertilizer. The USDA Certified Biobased Product Label verifies that the product’s amount of renewable bio-based ingredients meets or exceeds levels set by the USDA. With 86 percent renewable organic carbon, NutriRoot surpasses the minimum required renewable carbon content of 71 percent to qualify.

“The USDA Certified Biobased Product Label for NutriRoot shows Arborjet’s passion for developing products that meet the highest standards of quality and sustainability,” said Kristin Nikodemski, product marketing manager at Arborjet.

NutriRoot 2-2-3 Liquid Soil Applied Fertilizer blends minerals, seaweed extract, humic acid, surfactants and humectants with the intent of reducing watering, accelerating root growth and improving transplant survival of trees, shrubs and lawns.

This combination aims at delivering a single, effective solution. Its design lets soil pull water from the air into the root zone—extending watering intervals and reducing run-off—while supporting microbiology and stimulating root growth, the company said.

NutriRoot may be applied before and/or during planting, growing and winterizing. NutriRoot is available in several sizes, including 8 fl. oz., 32 fl. oz., 32 fl. oz. hose end sprayer, 1-gallon and 30-gallon concentrates.
