Caterpillar recently launched its 297D and 297D XHP multi-terrain loaders, which feature a new design made to enhance performance, control, and operator comfort and convenience, according to the company.

The machines also feature dual suspension undercarriages, new modular cabs and redesigned vertical lift loader linkages with Cat Intelligent Leveling that allows for electronic dual self-leveling, return-to-dig and work-tool positioning.

According to Cat, the new models have larger engines and increased horsepower, torque rise and lift force compared to the company’s C Series models.

Both of the D Series loaders include dual-level suspension systems, new cooling systems and Advanced Displays with integrated security systems. According to Cat, the machines work well completing high power jobs, including residential construction, landscaping and snow removal.
