The engine division of Kawasaki Motors Corp. introduced its first electronic fuel injected (EFI) engine, the FS730V.
Listing at 25.5 hp, the unit features an integrated load-sensing speed command, sequential-firing injectors, advanced ECU and instant throttle response.
The EFI engine also utilizes Kawasaki’s v-valve technology and hemispherical heads and pistons. In addition, its ECU-controlled automatic cold start enrichment process eliminates choke; the head temperature monitoring helps prevent over-heating; and the ECU-controlled ignition coil timing process retards spark for easing start-up and advances spark for maximum power at full throttle, according to Kawasaki.
Kawasaki is debuting the FS730V this week at GIE+EXPO in its indoor display at booth No. 1064 and its outdoor display at booth No. 7422D.
