Ewing Irrigation logoEntries are being accepted now through Sept. 13 for the Water & Sustainability Innovation Award, presented by Ewing Irrigation & Landscape Supply and Audubon International.

The award honors innovative projects that address sustainability challenges and water efficiency, while contributing to a healthy environment, quality of life and a vital economy. The award also highlights the positive impact that landscapes and other green spaces have in creating more sustainable communities.

Nominations are open to any landscaping company, organization or municipality that has completed a project that includes sustainable water practices and that was supplied in some way by Ewing Irrigation & Landscape Supply.

The award winner will be brought to Phoenix in January for an award ceremony and will be featured in a video about the winning project.

According to Ewing, sustainability is defined through the lens of the three E’s:

  • Environment: promoting a healthy environment.
  • Equity: enhancing quality of life.
  • Economy: creating a vital economy.

Nominations can include projects initiated within the past three years, but they must have been fully operational for at least one year, but for no more than two years. Submissions should demonstrate the impact, or potential impact, of the project through concrete measurements or analysis.
