At least five Green Industry companies made the Inc. 5,000 list this year, a ranking of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies. Music website Pandora, convenience store chain 7-Eleven, Brooklyn Brewery and Radio Flyer, maker of the children’s red wagon, are among the prominent brands featured on this year’s list.
Inc. ranks companies based on revenue growth from 2009 to 2012, with minimum revenue requirements of $100,000 in 2009 and $2 million in 2012 to be considered.
Companies representing the Green Industry include:
- Noon Turf Care, based in Massachusetts, ranked No. 1,853;
- Lawn Butler, based in Centerville, Utah, ranked No. 2,355;
- Emerald Isle Landscaping, based in Centennial, Colo., ranked No. 4,308;
- Desert Care Landscape Resources, based in Phoenix, ranked No. 639; and
- Green Lawn Fertilizing, based in West Chester, Pa., ranked No. 4,729.
