Rain Bird Training Services will host more than 80 irrigation-training events throughout the US from October to May.
The classes are open to irrigation professionals at all experience levels, including contractors, distributors, designers or architects. Attendees are eligible to receive continuing education units (CEUs) from the Irrigation Association (IA).
Rain Bird offers two primary training tracks: Rain Bird Factory Trained Classes and Rain Bird Academy Classes. Rain Bird Factory Trained Classes provide comprehensive training on Rain Bird products. Rain Bird Academy Classes provides general irrigation skills training on products from many manufacturers, as well as courses for IA exam preparation.
Beginning in December, Rain Bird also will offer a newly developed preparation class for the IA’s Certified Irrigation Designer (CID) exam.
“We have had a lot of requests from contractors and landscape architects to help them prepare for the IA’s CID exam,” said Robert Pfeil, marketing group manager for Rain Bird. “We listened to those requests, and we’ve carefully developed a class that we believe will help many irrigation professionals better prepare for this important examination.”
Moreover, the IA recently designated the Rain Bird Academy’s four Boot Camp classes as part of the IA Select program.
