Ruppert promotes Jim Tuzzolino to branch manager

|

Laytonsville, Md.-based Ruppert Landscape promoted Jim Tuzzolino to branch manager of its Gainesville, Va., branch.

As branch manager, Tuzzolino will be responsible for the overall development and health of the branch including strategic planning, budgeting, training and higher education and all day-to-day operations. He has more than 15 years of industry experience, eight of which years he has served at Ruppert. Tuzzolino began his career at the company as an intern, moving his way up to assistant foreman, foreman, production manager and, most recently, operations manager for the company’s Maryland landscape construction branch.

“Jim’s results-oriented approach is what will make him successful in the position of branch manager,” said Bob Jones, president of Ruppert’s landscape construction division. “He has a reputation for being a quality-focused manager who will do whatever it takes to get the job done. We are looking forward to his leadership in our Virginia branch.”

In his tenure at Ruppert, Tuzzolino has been recognized several times for his work ethic. He was honored with a Branch Impact Award in 2005, with the company’s Achievement Award in 2008 and with the company’s top honor, the Clyde Vadner Merit Award in 2012.

Tuzzolino graduated from SUNY Cobleskill with a Bachelor of Science degree in wildlife management.
