Toro commemorates centennial with yearlong celebration

On July 10, The Toro Co. will celebrate its milestone of completing 100 years in business. And as part of its centennial celebration, the company is highlighting its innovation and achievements over the years in the form of a timeline available at www.toro.com/100.

Toro’s yearlong celebration of its 100th anniversary provides an opportunity to look back on the company’s achievements and recognize the ingenuity and dedication of its employees, said CEO Michael Hoffman, and added it also acts as a means to thank channel partners and end-user customers for their loyalty and trust in Toro.

“What was true 75 years ago when Mr. Clapper made his statement about Toro remains true today—the loyal service of our employees and channel partners is critical to our company’s success,” Hoffman said, and recalled a few of the company’s achievements, including earning more than 1,500 patents and having professional distributor, dealer and retailer partners in more than 90 countries. “These same values that have been core throughout our first 100 years form the foundation for continued success into our next century.”
