What aerator do you recommend and why?

“The Ryan Lawnaire ZTS was a great addition to our fleet. We treat about 18,500,000 sq. ft. of turf per year, so every minute counts. As a hands-on owner and operator, I always dreaded aeration season because it was hard, backbreaking work. The Ryan Lawnaire ZTS is comfortable to run all day, without the fatigue you’d normally get from walk-behind units.”

“The Turfco TurnAer XT8 stand-on aerator. We love the ease of operation and we love the efficacy with which it aerates.
The quality and the density (of the plugs) are the best that we’ve ever seen, and we’ve seen them all. It’s a very well-balanced machine.”

“The addition of a Z-Plug (in 2016) not only reduced fatigue on the crews but improved productivity on a daily basis. In 2017, we will be buying a second unit. The crew that used the Z-Plug in 2016 completed more than $55,000 in aeration with zero days of downtime due to maintenance.”

I have to agree with Steve Bailey. TURFCO’s new XT8 is the best ZTR aerator on the market. I have over 100 hours on the XT8.
