Bayer CropScience’s Tribute Total post-emergent herbicide is now registered for use in California. According to the company, the herbicide delivers broad-spectrum control in one solution, allowing lawn care professionals to remove grassy and broadleaf weeds, sedges and kyllingas.

It also is effective against 55 types of weeds, including dallisgrass, goosegrass and clumpy rye.

The company believes this product will be beneficial for turf managers in California by saving them time and money.

“Turf managers in California face pressure throughout the growing season from difficult-to-control weeds,” said Jeff Michel, herbicides business manager for Bayer’s professional turf and ornamentals business. “Tribute Total helps them save time and money by delivering greater overall weed control without the need to tank mix multiple products.”
